Shilpa Shetty Goes Bald!

Shilpa Shetty after her wedding has been busy with her husband’s business and was not seen on screen. Now it seems Shilpa is all set to promote her upcoming film The Desire.

She is all set to shock her fans in her forthcoming film The Desire. The actress will be seen in a bald look in the film. However what is interesting to note is the fact that Shilpa didn't actually shave her head but used make-up to get the desired bald look.

The Desire, scripted and directed by R. Sarath, stars Chinese actor Xia Yu and Shilpa Shetty in lead roles while Anupam Kher, Jaya Prada, Vikram Gokhale, and Asif form the supporting cast. The film is perhaps the first Indo-Chinese collaborative production and is produced by Sunanda Shetty under the banner of Ten Golden Star, and co-produced by Shi Yun. The film has been selected to the New York City International Film Festival 2011, where it will be screened on August 24.

Shankar Ehsaan Loy and Vishwamohan Bhat have composed the music of The Desire. The film has been shot in Kerala, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Andhra Pradesh in India and also at various locales in Malaysia.

TRPs Rise With Wedding On Yeh Rishta...

Weddings are an integral part of every television serial as it proves to be a bankable factor for garnering maximum TRPs. The producers of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ seem to have recognized this factor as they are basking in the glory of their successful wedding episodes.

According to the reports, the latest lengthy wedding of Rashmi played by Neha Swaroopa, has grabbed a lot of eyeballs.The TRP of the show last week soared to 5.1. This wedding is going to take the story forward and all the actors are relishing the wedding sequences by retaining the authenticity if the event.

Producer Rajan Shahi says, "Yeh Ristha Kya Kehlata Hai is a show about love and life after marriage and nothing works better than marriage as audiences love the authentic nuisances of a real marriage shown realistically. The human emotional content of the show works in its favour and marriages have huge connect with masses. The marriages shown in Yeh Ristha... are not at all gimmicky. Naitik (Karan Mehra) and Akshara's(Hina Khan) marriage of 24 hours was shown in episodes for over a month and it worked out realistically and successfully garnering TRP's too. Currently, Rashmi's wedding is going on and audiences are loving every moment of it. The marriages in my shows have always been unique and lengthy, and they have been presented interestingly."

Shah Rukh Khan is very happy as he completed his most ambitious film Ra One. But the king khan’s life there seems to be something missing.

As Friendship Day is approaching, and after all the news doing the rounds of this one falling out with that one, Shah Rukh Khan revels that he has no friends.

It all happened at the wrap up party of 'Ra.One', that Shah Rukh Khan said, "Friendship Day is a beautiful day, I'm sure. But I don't have any friends!"

Shah Rukh added more on a serious note saying, "No. I'm kidding. I'll make some more friends this Friendship Day! Or, actually I won't because with friends you tend to say anything, and then the media gets busy!"

Now when his superhero action flick Ra. One is completed, SRK is also looking forward to the release of 'Don 2'. As well as Friendship day of course.

Uttaran's Ichcha To Reveal The Truth

A show can’t be on the top without the supply of constant twists and turns on regular basis. One of, Colors’, most popular show, Uttaran, will give its viewers another twist in the tale. In the upcoming episodes Ichcha (Tina Dutta) will come to know about Avinash’s reality and she will reveal it to Dadu (Sudhir Pandey).

A source says, “Ichcha has got to know about Avinash being Dadu’s real son and in the upcoming episodes she will face a dilemma whether to reveal it to Dadu or just move out of the house.

However she will go to Dadu’s room and blurt out everything assuming that he is asleep. But in spite of hearing the truth about his son Dadu will not react. Meanwhile Ichcha will continue to feel guilty of hiding the truth and later will go to confess in front of Dadu when he will tell that he already knows everything. After this Dadu and Ichcha will work together to solve Avinash’s problems.”

When contacted Tina Dutta (Ichcha) said, “I have got to know about Avinash’s truth but I will be confused whether to reveal it to Dadu or not."

Pratigya's Sajjan Singh Suffers A Heart Attack

We reported yesterday that Anupam Shyam aka Sajjan Singh of the Star Plus’ Pratigya has been suffering from low blood pressure and is hospitalised for the same. But the 54-year-old complained of chest pain on Monday due to minor stroke and was admitted to a hospital.

The entire cast and crew of Pratigya were clueless when Anupam suffered from the stroke on Monday afternoon while shooting. Apparently he had got a minor attack on Saturday but he passed it off as chest pain which led to a major attack on Monday.

His stress and continuous shooting since Saturday is said to be the reason behind this.

"We shall miss him a lot. He is an integral part of the show," a source from the channel said.

Gurudev Bhalla of Walkwater Productions said, "It was unfortunate that this happened, we have made sure that Anupam is in good hands. He has been admitted to the hospital and we are praying for his speedy recovery. "

The producers are now working on changing the storyline so that Anupma fits in when he resume the show.
